By choosing this rate, if your booking needs to be cancelled or amended for an objective, verifiable reason beyond your control, the cancellation fees set out in the booking contract will not apply.

This service is designed to offer you complete peace of mind and covers:

• All travellers included in the booking, regardless of nationality;
• relatives up to the second degree of kinship;
• one accompanying person, even if not related by family ties.

SERVICE EXCLUSION

Please note that, in accordance with the terms and conditions, the refund and protection service does not apply in the following specific cases:

• Epidemics and pandemics declared by the competent authorities;
• Measures or bans issued by governments or public authorities;
• Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, political unrest or strikes;
• War or acts of war;
• Criminal acts resulting in restrictions on personal liberty (unless the traveller or accompanying persons are victims thereof);
• Events known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time of booking;
• Fear of flying or travelling;
• Journeys undertaken to undergo medical or surgical treatment;
• Exacerbation of pre-existing and/or chronic conditions;
• Self-harm, suicide or attempted suicide;
• Acts committed with malicious intent;
• Insolvency or bankruptcy of travel service providers;
• Nuclear reactions, radiation or radioactive contamination;
• Environmental pollution or contamination of any kind;
• Ordinary or seasonal weather events.
